Toru Chair explores balance through a three-legged structure that challenges conventional seating geometry while maintaining stability and clarity. A single rear leg extends to support the backrest, acting as the chair’s primary structural and visual spine. The front legs remain slender and secondary, reinforcing the directional nature of the form.

A gently contoured upholstered seat and backrest introduce ergonomic comfort and soften the otherwise architectural frame. Controlled transitions between wood, metal, and upholstyery emphasise precision in detailing and craftsmanship.
