Sajal Lamba is a strategic thinker, perfectionist, and advocate for original design solutions, with over two decades of experience across the furniture and luxury design industries. As one of the founding minds behind Wriver, he brings to the table a rare blend of business insight, technical finesse, and a deep-rooted commitment to quality that resonates across every stage of design and production. Educated in Business Administration at HSB, Hisar, Sajal entered the industry early, cultivating a hands-on understanding of market gaps and user aspirations. In 2008, he co-founded Alsorg with the intent to reimagine modern interiors through high-precision, custom-made furniture. This formative venture laid the groundwork for Wriver, a forward-thinking brand created to make scalable luxury furniture accessible to a discerning Indian audience.
What sets Sajal apart is his ability to merge technical knowledge with a refined design instinct. At Wriver, his vision has materialised into an immersive infrastructure and agile manufacturing ecosystem, capable of responding to emerging trends, experimental finishes, and global standards of execution. longside design leadership, he also oversees the procurement of all material requirements that enable Wriver’s commitment to promoting local craftsmanship and material innovation. His leadership style is both collaborative and exacting, driving teams to innovate responsibly while anchoring every idea in functional purpose. Deeply involved in the prototyping and manufacturing process, Sajal brings a tactile sensibility to his work. From conceptual ideation to production, he ensures that every Wriver piece is not only engineered with precision but imbued with intent, bridging aesthetic elegance with everyday use.
Beyond the brand, Sajal has emerged as a recognised voice in the industry, with features and interviews in print media such as The Hindu, Times of India and Commercial Design India and presence at industry-leading forums at India Design and DownTown Design Dubai. Under his stewardship, Wriver products have garnered attention from publications such as Architectural Digest, Elle Decor India, and India Today Home for their distinctive design language and commitment to innovative craftsmanship. While Wriver continues to make its mark on a global scale, Sajal remains grounded in his core belief that good design is a consequence of clear intent, relentless refinement, and the courage to redefine the boundaries.

Kapil Bharti is a design strategist, leader, and systems thinker whose work is characterised by a rare ability to transition seamlessly between concept and execution. With over a decade of experience in the premium furniture industry, his practice is rooted in the belief that good design must be precise, functional, and materially articulate.
Kapil’s professional journey has been shaped by a deep investment in material research and innovation. Whether developing tactile finishes, prototyping new joinery systems, or refining the logic of modular furniture, he approaches every project as a study in detail and restraint. His intuitive understanding of scale, craft, and function is informed by hands-on engagement, as he spends as much time at the workbench and factory floor as he does at the drawing board.
An ace in the creative process, Kapil Bharti leads the Product and Material Innovation at Wriver, apart from heading the Wriver Design Studio. He leads all product development initiatives and has been instrumental in creating a manufacturing framework that bridges traditional craft sensibilities with high-precision industrial processes. His design collaborations with design studios such as MuseMART, Hive, Studio Sumeet Nagi, and Morphlab reflect a dynamic design culture rooted in experimentation and rigour.
Kapil’s initiatives at Wriver has led to recognition across platforms, with product collections such as the Lithic Series, featuring the patented Pesta Mosaico finish, earning accolades including the DNA Paris Design Awards, A Design Awards and the Kyoorius Design Awards. With a Master’s in Business Administration in International Business and Marketing and with extensive experience in client-facing roles across India’s dynamic design industry, Jitender has cultivated a deep understanding of the cultural and commercial nuances that shape the luxury interiors segment.
At the heart of his approach is an ability to translate market instincts into actionable growth strategies. He has played a pivotal role in shaping Wriver’s retail and experiential journey, from its flagship stores and experience centres in Gurugram and Mumbai to its growing network across Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Surat. Each location reflects a specific local identity while reinforcing the brand’s contemporary design sensibility. Jitender’s flair lies in positioning the brand within a larger conversation – one that merges data-led insights with design storytelling. Under his leadership, Wriver has been instrumental in driving growth across performance marketing, audience engagement, and thought-led brand activations.

Sudhir Verma | Co-Founder & Director

With a mind wired for systems thinking and a temperament that favours precision over noise, Sudhir Verma brings a deep sense of structure to everything he leads. At his core, Sudhir believes that well-designed operations are invisible, felt only in the consistency of the product, the timeliness of delivery, and the smoothness of every transaction. His background in operations and business systems coupled with extensive industry experience and a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing, informs a leadership style rooted in long-term reliability, operational efficiency, and strategic control across Finance and Logistics at Wriver.
At the organisational level, he ensures that regulatory and financial systems stay aligned with the brand’s evolving scale, while overseeing internal controls, cost management, and statutory obligations. By building lasting relationships with logistics partners and operational teams, Sudhir has helped Wriver scale its presence without losing precision in execution. From managing the distribution networks across Wriver’s showrooms in Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Surat and Pune to supporting expansion planning, Sudhir ensures that Wriver’s operations are optimised and agile, making the back-end of the business as polished as the front-facing product lines. Wriver Design Studio
Wriver Design Studio is the creative conscience of the brand Wriver, and is a point of landing and take-off for the company’s vision. It comprehends and conceives all the operations ranging from research, strategy, design and development of products; to creating experiences for flagship stores and exhibition displays at the furniture shows worldwide.
The reins of Wriver Design Studio are held by the company’s co-founder & director Kapil Bharti. Over the years of consistent collaboration and kindred creative vision, he shares his foresight with the principal designer Harjot Singh, who has been assigned the role of art director for Wriver to guarantee a uniform foundation for new design development.
Led by Harjot, the studio comprises of a team of adept designers who work together with technical experts to manifest company’s vision and the requirements of the end-user. It is responsible for keeping up with the industry’s latest demands, integrating innovation in processes, technologies and materials. The team strives to achieve highest level of detail and creative expression, by exploring endless possibilities informed by designs of varied scales, interpreting all environments of a modern living.

Harjot Singh | Wriver Design Studio
Harjot Singh is an award-winning inter-disciplinary designer having a comprehensive body of work in the field of architecture, interior, exhibition, retail and product design. Trained as an architect from the esteemed ‘National Institute of Technology’ (NIT)- Hamirpur, he post-graduated from the prestigious ‘National Institute of Design’ (NID)- Ahmedabad, and has attended international academic programmes at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW)- Berlin in Germany and Instituto Marangoni- Milano in Italy. Harjot has received numerous accolades and honours such as IAD, Park Elle Decor and EDIDA awards. Elle Decor India has listed him under Rising Stars of the Indian design industry.

Sumeet Nagi | Studio Sumeet Nagi
Sumeet Nagi is the Founder and Creative Head of Studio Sumeet Nagi, a Mumbai based studio that engages with multi-disciplinary scales of furniture design and interior design. Coming from a family of furniture makers, he carried forward the legacy and studied Interior Design at Rachna Sansad in Mumbai and later a Masters in Professional Interior Design from IED Milano in Milan. Through his work, he effortlessly blends material authenticity with a deep technical understanding reflected in the detailing of his designs.

Huzefa Rangwala | Jasem Pirani | MuseLab
In 2015, partners Huzefa Rangwala and Jasem Pirani, embarked on a creative journey to bring their passion for design to life. Vikrant Sharma | Gaurav Dewan | Mandeep Ratra | Hive
Vikrant Sharma, Gaurav Dewan and Mandeep Ratra founded Hive in 2011, a Gurgaon-based multidisciplinary design studio. Vikrant, the Principal Architect, drives purposeful design and innovation, believing architecture is a transformative force. Gaurav, with 23 years of experience, focuses on functionality, user lifestyle, and spatial efficiency, blending photography, travel, and design. Mandeep, with over 25 years in design, ensures seamless project execution, infusing a love for simplicity and practicality. Hive’s growing portfolio includes expansive farmhouses, luxury interiors, commercial offices, cafes, and minimalist temples. The studio emphasizes the importance of light, shadow, materiality, and user values in creating purposeful, warm, and unique spaces.
