Forten Lounge Chair

A subtle articulation of joinery defines the character of the design. Inspired by the precision of a 45-degree connection, the transition between elements is expressed through a controlled gap, allowing the structure to be both visible and refined. Rather than emphasizing construction directly, the detail is softened through upholstery and proportion, creating a balance between clarity and comfort. Rounded wooden legs and generous volumes introduce a friendly presence, while the junction detail quietly anchors the identity of the piece.
