Sinch Sofa

Sinch sets a study in contrasts: a low, generously stuffed body – plump rounded seat cushions and soft bunlike arms that sit close and heavy – lifted clear of the floor on slim, splayed metal legs. The pairing is the idea – where the upholstery is all weight and ease, the legs are spare and elemental and the cushioned volume appears to float above its thin metal stance. Legs of slightly different heights give the silhouette a quiet tilt rather than a flat, static base. The effect is relaxed but considered – a deep, inviting seat with a sharp structural counterpoint.
